About Dextroamphetamine (Adderall)

Dextroamphetamine (Adderall) is a mild Central Nervous System stimulant. It affects chemicals in the brain and nerves that contribute to hyperactivity and impulse control.

Adderall may help some patients for whom other medications, such as Ritalin have not been effective. The effects of Adderall can be felt after a few doses.
